we're going to be in Chicago next weekend for The Hives! can you say ROCK N' ROLL???

Woo Hoo! If anyone from the area can post about a hotels near The Metro (where the concert is) we would be most appreciative. I'm pretty sure it's not far from Wrigley Field. Danka!

I will try to remember to ask at work tomorrow what hotels are near there. I am not familiar with the area, sorry. When are you guys coming down? When are you staying until? Dan and I talked about going away for the weekend next weekend if we don't I would love to see if I could meet up with you even if it is just for lunch!

Hi Nancy, We coming on Sunday and leaving Monday. We are staying at a B & B called The Harvey House in Oak Park. We figure we should be there around 12-12:30 or so. they're an awesome but fairly mellow country band that i think you'd like, you should check them out on youtube or something.

Any downtown Chicago hotels will cost you at the low end $250.00 per night, that would be a good rate, and up to over $325.00 per night. I typically stay at a hotel that is farther out but is accessible to Chicago via the Metra or El-Train. I love to stay around the Park Ridge area out towards O-Hare. There is a Ramada Inn on Cumberland Rd. that I stayed at recently at a rate of $143.00 per night. It is within walking distance of the El-Train that could get you into the Loop. I was in Chi-Town this past week and will be back in the area next month. Have fun in the Windy City, Ron

Sorry Nancy but it was my meeting with my staff from across the country and very little free time was available.
