NY Hot air balloon festival pics

For Labor Day weekend, the family went up to NY State to visit hubby's parents and attend the Hot Air Balloon festival. Very cool seeing lots of balloons up in the air. Trying to get pics was horrible, though... they couldnt' have set it up WORSE for pics. The sun was right in the "line of fire" so to speak. I wish I could ride in one of them soo bad.. they are beautiful. I know a while back, Big Tony was at one and had pics.. they were very pretty too. Are you still working on the photography stuff.. with the black/white and some color *can't think of proper term*... I bet those pics would look awesome done that way. thanks for sharing

Yeah... I am still working with the photography stuff. Trying to teach myself all about exposure, aperture, composition, etc etc. The term I use for the partial color/b&w is desaturation. Hmmm... may try that with some of the balloon pics.

Kept trying to get Daniel to look at them -- and he wouldn't! Probably because he is a Gremlin and hates sunlight. I always have to bring his little sunglasses with me if we'll be outside. Thanks for the continuing thoughts and prayers. We still need them. Everyday we still want to call my dad or tell him something... and every day I wonder what Steven would be like now...
