what kind of person are you..

what one trait or shortcoming ( not many, but one ) do you have that you dislike about yourself?? one of mine is CONTROL I have to be in control of everything.. or my heart starts beating faster.. and I get some anxiety.. sooo... I've decided to let some of it go.. starting with Jay and Mel's wedding.. I've decided to let Poppa make the room reservations.. and get us there.. *I'll help drive if he wants me too* but once there to drive us to/from the hall.. and stuff.. he called earlier this morning regarding hotels.. and I was like tightening up.. thinking I have to do this.. but I don't.. he's a grown man and can make the arrangements just fine. Sooooo.. I'm taking a deep breath and letting go of control on this one thing.. for now.. PRAY FOR ME he doesn't know this yet.. think he'll be surprised..

I have a hard time with that too. mostly cause I'm a planner & like to make sure things are in place. I understand things can change & I'm fine with that, but I like to have the orig thing set up at least. but my actual answer is prob my patience (or lack of) I soooo want to be more patient, but tend to want things yesterday. I'm working on it. (& other things too, but you said just name one ) p.s. hi rhonda p.p.s. I'm jealous you guys are going to their wedding.

yes, & yes. yeah, the only reason I'm even able to go to NC is cause Myr is using her miles to get me a flight, so I dont have to pay anything & the place we're staying is her friends so free lodging too. just mainly have to pay for food. nice but I was always like "did you book that flight yet? did you get the place set yet? do we need to make a backup reservation at a hotel in case she flakes out...." blah, blah, blah. I'm anal.

Wooooo hooooooo mamma! I know its hard, but you are right. He IS a grown man and totaly capable of handling things, and if he doesnt, he's capable of dealing with the consequences. I'm proud of you. Its hard to let go sometimes, but we all need to. Me, I think I'm too trusting and that tend to gets me burned. I think I need to be more of a biyatch! I'm working on it...hehehehe
