True Hero's
It seems here lately that I am surounded by them. People that take the big step and grab life by the "short hairs" and hang on! I mean look and Jay and Mel, Kathy and Ron, Annie and her sexy Sailor, Debby my favorite wife of all, Gladys, kellee, Rhonda and her ole fart, (hehe). Etc etc etc. I can't even remember half of you. It's just that sometimes it just totally blows my mind how truly reziliant the human mind and heart are. The couragouse don't let it beat us, we just come back hitting harder no matter how scared we are. I just want everyone to know I am truly amazed at the inner strength of the people on this board. As far as I'm concerned you are all my Hero's!
OK gonna go do somethin MANLY now like or I don't know pass gas in public or something. Hugs and sloppy kisses to you all. Sparky
You and Debby too!
hey the way i figure it is we all took THE huge risk with our surgery and we hit the jackpot by surviving and winning a new life so we might as well blaze a trail of glory right? what do we have to lose? I don't know about you but i was MISERABLE before my surgery.
Yalla Yalla Yalla! (forward, let's go!)
it's actually Arabic but when i was in Israel on a student tour the "guide" (aka counselor) kept yelling Yalla! Yalla! at us to get us to keep moving. And nowadays it's part of a song (and the title of the song) by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros (one of my favorite bands.) I think most British people are familiar with the term.
now's here a hero
