Hitting the road to Michigan tomorrow!

I hope everyone is well I've been going through withdrawl pangs from not lurking/occasionally posting and keeping up with the folks on this board. These past two weeks have been devoted to getting my sister up to speed on all she needs to know to take over the care of my mom and in preparation for my big move to Michigan for grad school. . I have to admit that I am a bit nervous at the thought of quitting a full time job and leaving my home for the past 27 years, but it has been a year of many positive life changes, so what's one more! Watch out Jay, Mel and Kellee! Here I come!

Best of luck in your new adventure Gladys...i am one of the lucky ones to have met and spent time with you in TN........i still remember walking up to you at the airport and hoping it was YOU !! ....and getting off our flight to meet the gang in GB ...Probably the best part was on the way home...we had a short lay over in Cinci.........our plane landed there and we had to spend the night...not even a tooth brush...I feel blessed to have met you and spent time with you........Your a good person.. and your gonna do great with this new life change....i know leaving your mom is tough...not easy for you..but your sister is gonna do a great job...........keep in touch with us.......... and you get to go to MI knowing that you have some friends there for ya already. I LOVE THESE BOARDS... we have gotten to meet and befriend people all over the country. You go girl.. this world aint' all that big.. you are never but a call.. or email away from family. You'll be fine stay safe.. and let us know when you arrive there safely. Hello gorgeous, It's been a long time since I got a chance to check out the boards. Things have changed so much. I finally made it to under 200 pounds and cut off all my hair and life has been so busy.
