M. Vick

Did you hear he's considering pleading guilty and serving a year's time to prevent the racketeering charges being filed? The only hold up is he's waiting to find out how it will affect his NFL career if he pleads guilty. Ok, i know he's supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty but he's considering pleading guilty, his codefendents have pled guilty etc so not being a court of law, i'm considering him to be guilty. I hope he never plays football again. I think the things he's reported to have done are just despicable and disgusting. ALTHOUGH it is kind of weird that NFL players who've been accused of rape have settled out of court and not been ostracized nearly as much as Michael Vick for the dog fighting thing. Kinda leaves you shaking your head.

I hope the ******* loses his NFL career. I don't have the stomach for people like that. I have no respect for people that make money off of dogs beating the chit out of eachother, if not killing eachother. I get these emails everyday from the United States Humane Society, just about every day there is a thing about this douche bag in it. They should put him in a room/cage with 5 or 6 pit's, and wearing nothing but his tighty whiteys and a t-shirt. See how he enjoys THAT. Merely my thoughts.

what i hate, is that I am sitting here looking at loosing my job and wondering how many jobs I will have to pick up to compensate for that loss, and he has the god given talent to be one the best atheletes in the world....why can't we be in different places...that would be punishment enough for him...give him my cube, and my job, and I'll take his starting job and money, and start a real no kill shelter and hire lizzie and kellee to run it. What a waste..his mother must be so proud...his brother also a star quarterback in college has been in and out of jail on drug charges... Signed Jeff future Atlanta Falcons starting quarterback... Professional althletes have always gotten away with things you and I would not... If Jeffery Dahlmer was a pro football player he'd get a slap on the hand and counseling for an eating disorder...

I am still awaiting all the facts. You have to know that this has been out there for quite some time and now it just hits the front page. I have a funny feeling that in this case Vick will not skate because there is a big support group, and there should be, for the kind treatment of animals. As for his sports career, he put a lot of it in the tank by his actions. If I am the Falcons, first I protect the mascot, then I do whatever it takes to cancel his contract and cut him loose. It will be very interesting to see how this one resolves itself.
