HBO Nixes JFC
Sorry Jay,
But read the attached link announcing that HBO has pulled the plug on "John from Cincinnati". I never did get to see an episode so I am not really sure what I missed but I do hate it when a new series that I am digging gets buried by the network brass.

I did try to get into "Army Wives" this year but it seemed like a "Desparate Housewives" knock-off to me.
Take Care,
Ron
this show was soooo freaking cool. i have every episode in AVI format and would be happy to send it to you but it will be frustrating for you when you reach the end of episode 10 and find out there's not going to be anymore answers.
If you liked Deadwood it's REALLY cool because you get to see some of the same actors in totally different ways. Charlie Utter as a Hawaiin drug dealer, Trixie as the owner of a coffee shop, Morgan Earp as a Christ/Alien figure, Francis Wolcott/Jack McCall as a sympathetic doctor, Wu as a drug dealer who speaks like a Hawaiin "bra", etc.
Jay,
Well we went and did it. Sas and I dove right on in and went big time into the Apple world this past weekend. I think you already knew we had been using MacBooks for the past year. Well I also purchased and Airport Extreme to build my home network and create a NAS drive (500 GB). Then two weeks ago I purchased iPhones for Sas, Tanner (youngest son) and myself. Now this weekend I decided I had gone long enough without a desktop system so I bought a new 20" iMac with a 2.4 Intel Duo 2 processor (maxed the ram at 4 Gigs). And since I am ripping my own movies I packaged in a high end Sony burner with the 160 GB Apple TV. And finally to top it all off, Sas got a Nano iPod and I an iPod shuffle with accompanying Bose Headphones (killer sound) and Bose Computer speakers.
And you know what it hilarious, my favorite device of all is my Logitech wireless mouse. Hey, if it all goes to hell in a hand basket I can load MS Windows, download Bootcamp and make em all act like PCs. What a deal.
After you finish your nuptuals I do have to call you. You have some know how that I need to tap into.
Ron
