too good to be true????
I "won" a full scholarship to an Institute of Therapeutic Massage. They normally charge $8000 for the full program. I will wind up with state certification after the basic program and full national certification after the advanced program. it's in writing that it won't cost me one cent. all i have to buy is scrubs and two text books that i get used through Amazon.
we had massages there on Saturday when i entered the contest. They were awesome.
i'm very scared and wary as i'm a skeptic by nature and don't ever expect anything for free. But as much work as i put in researching this place and their paperwork it looks for real. In the past three years they've had only one complaint with the Better Business Bureau and it's listed as resolved.
any thoughts?
yes, i went down there. they put it all in writing and signed it right in front of me, no printers. ZERO dollars. no registration fees, no tuitions, no seminars. nothing required. i can back out at any time. i met other students who are paying the 8K. One gave me a massage. I can't find anything wrong.
of course i'm not offended. it's not like the term was "you're going to hell if you don't believe Jesus was your lord and savior!"
I use lots of terms that originate in works of fiction. no problemo.
did i mention the head of the massage institute is very spiritual and has lots of christian stuff all over the offices?
