My 5 coworkers and I just found out that we have till 8/31 to find jobs. Now mind you my group all have between 5-10 years expierience within the company, and were all hand selected for our positions because of our knowledge. Fanfunkin tastic. I would qualify for 2 months severence if it came to that. On the bright side, because we are all top notch employees they have an HR rep that is actively trying to place us all. But....it sucks. Great bday present

God Bless George Bush and the wonderful job he's done for our economy. Just gotta love it. No one is safe. Where do you live again? the economy here in Detroit is supposed to be one of the worst in the country so i know how tough it is. You have my sympathy. And birthday wishes.

we were a hand selected group jay of it nerds selected to cleanse all the data here...unfortunatly we weren't evidently proving our worth...so they dismantled the group. We are all skilled and my manager is busy making phone calls right now trying to place us all.... I live in pittsburgh btw..and actually my company is recession proof...we sell pharmaceutical, lab, safety, and biological supplies to 50000 customers, universities, municipalities, labs, and hospitals all over the world..if u've been in a hospital, u've used our product. we just did 3.3 billion in sales last 1/4. So we are very profitable. I just don't want to leave the company....very hectic time... thanks for ur concern... jeff

sorry Jeff.. will keep you in thoughts/prayers.. that's always my biggest fear.. is to be out a job. Try to keep positive.. altho I know in these cir****tances it's really hard. when is your bday

I know thursday was a wash..but maybe friday night....i will let u know..if u can. (Lizzie and I are finally gonna meet after 3 years of living within 5 -10 miles of each other, and having surgery with the same dr 4 months apart...)
