Goomba

Trying to stay cool down here in the Lone Star state and I was just wondering where did the term Goomba come from? As in, when someone does something dumb, they get called a goomba. Never heard of the term until I met Cathy. Now I get called a Goomba every other day. Kinda makes me wonder if Goomba and Dork are interchangeable? Ron,

Nope, not the wrong one...just got an epiphany regarding you tonight and wedding plans. Maybe it was a hunch... Hey everyone else is getting married. Might as well jump in and test the nuptual springs so to speak. Marriage the to right person is absolutely pure bliss. I always said if I ever had a little girl that I would want to name her Bliss. Bliss Brister has a ring to it doesn't it?

That's odd that you mention that. My horoscope today said I was about to become entangled with a romance of huge proportions. Ok, we gotta talk about this "Bliss" thing...I went to school with a girl who named her daughter Bliss. She's pretty and popular, thank goodness, or she would have had more teasing. Not to say your daughter wouldn't be gorgeous and popular, but what if she was teased and called "Blisster Brister"? So, are we to get the hint that Mrs. Brister is expecting????
