My sister was in town this weekend and we finally were able to find dresses for the girls standing up. Yippee! They are really pretty.. the picture doesn't do justice to the bodice which is beaded. I'm not loving the bow in this dress but it seems to hit at a strategic point and has a camoflaging effect on the tummy area. This from girls who are sizes 4,6,and 10. http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&langId=-1&s toreId=301&productId=501221830&N=1000894+2010880&searchUrl=%2Fendeca%2FEndecaStartServlet% 3FN%3D1000894%2B2010880&R=WDC022 We also found shoes that they all like. Brown patent leather peep toe pumps.I also found my shoes so I can now set up the appointment for my first dress fitting. Scary! Anyhow they are happy and I am happy they are happy. One less wedding worry! My cousin sent out a first edition of our invite and we are really excited about it. We are exploring some different font styles to see if we like another better but we hope to have that wrapped up this week as well. I would really like them in the mail next week. Found a pattern on the web so I am going to attempt to make my own veil. It seems relatively easy and the veil I tried on at the bridal store where I got my dress was like 250.00 dollars! Yikes! It can't be that hard. I just want a one layer, ivory catherdral length veil. Probably check Michaels one day this week on that. Next Friday Jay and I travel back to Cleveland to get our marriage license, meet the judge who is marrying us to discuss the ceremony, I will be having my hair and make up trial. We also want to check pricing at another florist and check with a bakery on some possible options for some sort of cake. We also may drop by the Rock Hall again to check on a couple of items that we forgot to clarify when we were last there. This will probably be our last trip to Cleveland before we get married. That's our wedding update for anyone who wanted to know!

Thanks! I think their great and I was beginning to think I wouldn't be able to find a dress in the colors I was hoping to use---chocolate brown and mocha. I posted it in another thread which I haven't been able to locate. Perhaps Rhonda can help...she seems to have the knack for finding those old threads. If not, I can post it tonight. I can't access google images and the best pic of my dress is on there. If you can get google images type in Pronovias Jupiter. That's my dress. There's a couple shots on their of a girl with her face blotted out in the same dress I'm wearing.

Awww Thanks Lizzie. I was lucky to find it as it was a dress that Pronovias did a couple of years ago and it just happened to be on their sale rack. Otherwise it would have been completely out of my price range. I really love it and can't wait to walk down the aisle in it.

OK...Wedding viels.....Michaels, joann fabric, and...I know this sounds so cheap(and I saw non in ivory) but walmart has a decent wedding section(if you go to one of the big mega walmarts), also....We have a place down here called Everything Wedding. It's a 2nd hand retail joint for wedding chit. Dude don't be scared. As for the Rock Hall....Not that I live 20 minutes from there, however, if you need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask.

The second hand thing is a good idea. Walmart too. I hadn't thought of either of those. I'll need to do some checking as I'd like to take my veil for the hair trial when I go. How far are you from the Rock Hall/Cleveland?
