I haven't been on here in so long the site is all new and this was the easiest way to get your attention. To eveyone that might be reading this...HELLO! I am glad there are so many different boards now. Back to Mel...ok so I am terrible and lost your snail mail address and your email address. How the heck are you? I am so happy to hear you and Jay are getting married. That is so amazing! I am very happy for the both of you. What exactly is the big date? I am doing great! Dating sucks but work and everything else is totally amazing. I have 2 new leases on life (WLS and then the other more recent lease). Drop me a line! Thanks Leigh for saying hi! I have recommitted myself to getting to my goal. This site was my lifeline once and I am going to use it that way again! Yes I realized as I got healthier mentally and physically, I was able to see how unhealthy my marriage was. So now I am new to the dating scene and man oh man I am glad I am not the only one who think it sucks! Umm...boytoy, I'll have to think about that one! ~Van

hi Vanessa! how are you?! I guess Mel hasn't been to the board yet since you've posted this. I'm not home, not even in the USA right now so i can't nudge her to come look but i'm sure she'll see it soon. It's good to see you post. I know Mel misses you and whenever we talk about the MI board not being as cool as it used to be, we note your absence as one of the reasons.

Not even in the USA. If I didn't know you loved Mel so much, I'd think you were running away. I've definitely thought about you guys on many occasions. Now you'll have to learn to put up with me all over again !

VANNNN!!!!! I'm SOOOOOglad you posted!!!! How the heck are you girl!!! I'm sorry that I was a sucky friend in December when I know you could have really used one but we had a family crisis at that time and that kind of pushed everything including our holiday to the side. I have missed you and I am so glad you found this board! The group here is really amazing for support and they are a crazy but fun bunch. You will fit right in! So when are you coming back to MI???? Are you coming for good or just a visit? It would be awesome to have you back here... but please closer than before, okay? Do you ever talk to Jen or any of that old group? Last I heard Jen and family were moving to Texas. Jay and I are getting married in 52 days! At the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland! WooHoo! Rock and Roll Baby! I am GREAT! No apoligizes necessary. I am good now and that is all that matters. I've come really far. It is all the mental improvements that I didn't get by getting thinner. I've been able to find them now and I am really happy. I am one of those people I use to scuff at and say no one is that happy. WRONG! I should be back in August-Septemberish. Just for a visit, for now but the possibility exist that I'll come back in the next year. I got a great promotion at work and that is hard to leave. What an amazing place to get married! Rock and Roll...the only way to go! I haven't been in touch with the MI board lately. I know that Jen and family stayed in Michigan but that is really all I know.
