Introduction

Hi! My name is Jen..Im from PA..I am a mom of 2 BEAUTIFUL kids (yeah im a little biased)....Elijah is 17 months (tomorrow) and Emileigh is 6 months...Yes they are 10.5 months apart...I had Open WLS in June of 03, lost 274 pounds...Had my tummy tuck done Oct of 2004...6 months later found out I was preggers with my son...Than on 3 forms of BC, I got preggers with my daughter...I am also a recovering addict, 13 years clean from crack and heroin....Ok, I guess thats enough from me! Just wanted to say hi! Jen

Welcome to the board, Jen. Sounds like you have your hands full with two babies! I can't even imagine. lol Mine are six years apart and the youngest leaves for Michigan State University on August 23rd. I'll be okay, really, I will. lol I, too, am a recovering addict with 21 + years clean. There's no better life, at least for me. Theresa

Thank you for the welcome Theresa I thought it was going to be hard, but I am TRULY BLESSED! My kids are great, and I have a FANTASTIC stay at home daddy! My husband is on perm disability, and he does fantastic with them...And I agree, no better life!! Jen

Hi Jen, Welcome. I'm daniel and had open RNY june of 2005. I too am a recovering Person. Long time member of AA but a short timer in recovery. Congradulations on your weight loss, recovery and your children.

Hello Jen WELCOME.. I'm divorced from a porn addict.. I lived with a social drinker who drank everyday.. and now.. years later, living with Dan who is recovering from his addictions. I had lap RNY 05-05-04.. done great.. no complications but still battle my food addiction... stopped my alcohol addiction 11-18-06 and stopped my tobacco addiction about 2 months ago (after a relapse()) why is life full of addictons.. Congratulations to YOU on being clean for 13 years AWESOME...
