Laugh of the Day
Forever I have used the term "Laugh of the Day" as a reminder that it is very important to have a moment of humor for our health, both mentally and physically. I don't necessarily look for the humorous moment as quite frankly in most lives more that one opportunity to laugh surfaces in the normal day to day routine.
Today, our Bichon Friese, AJ, provided the laughter. We were eating and I gave AJ an onion ring (I know not a good food for a dog). Now AJ is one of those pet that gobbles his food. He has never been one to chew. Well when I gave him the onion ring it went perfectly on his lower jaw through the circle of the ring, like a horseshoe on the stake. Well he is an older dog and is missing a lot of his teeth. So he started his normal gulping action but he couldn't because the onion ring was caught on his jaw. So he started chewing the best he could but couldn't bite through the onion ring. So he just kept gulping and chewing and wasn't making any ground with the onion ring. He finally slipped it off his lower jaw and ate it.
Thank You AJ for our laugh of the day.
