Found this on one of my shopping boards...and since I'm bored, I thought I'd share it with all of you...so you can be bored with me! Happy Independence Day! Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Fun facts: 2.5 million - In July 1776, the estimated number of people living in the newly independent nation. 302 million - The nation's population on this July Fourth. More than 74 million - Number of Americans who said they have taken part in a barbecue during the previous year. $206.3 million - The value of fireworks imported from China in 2006, representing the bulk of all U.S. fireworks imported ($216 million). $5.3 million - In 2006, the dollar value of U.S. imports of American flags; the vast majority of this amount ($5 million) was for U.S. flags made in China

I bet my dogs will be going nuts soon. I have two Chihuahua's. One is about 9 lbs and the other is around 3.5 lbs. They have "big dog" syndrome and think they're tough but we know better. My friend Denise will have to deal with them, though, cuz I'm in TX.
