Rain Rain Go Away!
I'm off today and I wanna play!!!
Good Morning kiddos! It's overcast and showering here... not exactly what I would have requested for weather had anyone asked me.
Ellie's curled up on my lap and I'm just finishing latte #1. Jay's still snoozing and I heard System of a Down on Dakota's IPOD alarm just now. He's going to his Dad's for little while this morning before heading into work from 2-10:30 PM.
Feels like a lazy day....
send some to atl for me it seems gray here in md too and i want to get some sun but being with natie poo is the best thing over any sun ok, getting sappy here

I think we may have found one. It is online at Nordstroms so we won't have to order it from a bridal shop. It's way too late for that. It's very similar to the Jim Hjelm dress we were looking at. The only down side, if you want to call it that, is that it isn't in the colors I would have liked. I was hoping to find dresses in a mocha or latte color. This dress is pretty but it's a nude color with black tulle overlay.
In the scheme of things, it will be fine. I had originally wanted brown tuxes but when Jay tried on the brown and then the black, we both like the black so much better. I haven't bought anything in the brown colors yet so it's cool.
I think you might have posted a link but I'm not sure. Send it to me again. What colors are you using?
Here's a link to the dress my girls like. It's probably not what I would have chosen but I like it, it's reasonably priced, and they like it so that might actually wear it again.

We love seeing folks post about good things happening in their lives and what more wonderful an event is there than pendng nuptuals.
We are floating away here in Dallas. Suppose to rain again today for the umpteenth time. Everyone here is water logged. I wished we could channel a whole lot of the standing water your way. Cathy and I live next to the canal and we haven't ever seen te water level so high.
Eh, at least I'm on vacation, right? I'm still glad I came and the Arlington mall has taken up a lot of time, so it's not all bad.
We're going to attempt Six Flags tomorrow and if we don't get on a majority of the rides I'll still have had some fun, I'm sure. Positive thinking, right? (I just read your post to Liz, could ya tell?)
Dad's cooking on the grill but we're not having steaks...just weanies (Kellee, that was for you), corn on the cob, chips, and potato salad. It's always better when someone else cooks it.

I have wanted to ask if the Canal had overflowed yet. It finally stopped raining in OKC and I think in all Oklahoma. We have horrendous flooding, but not as bad as Coffeyville, KS. However, their flooding will float south to Oklahoma (and has in Bartlesville), then on down to Tulsa. If you were in Oklahoma in 84/85, do you remember that horrible flood in the summer that washed away so many trailers on the Arkansas River and flooded the rest of the homes around it? The meteorologists are predicting a flood like that based on the actions of the Corps of Engineers to release flooding up north, then on down to each of the lakes and dams. I hate to say this, but if the chain reaction keeps on going, the Red River will continue to over flow, be more destructive, and then in effort to relieve that will be released by the Corps to go on down to Dallas and beyond. In the words of one of the helicopter photojournalists here in OKC about Bartlesville and Coffeyville, KS, "It almost looked liked New Orleans when I made my first pass over." Sad.... I won't get on my rant about how f'up the stuff with New Orleans was and is.
Don't float away! If they say evacuate, do it. You all on the canal have very little room for flooding. Even if you are on 2nd or 3rd floors. Be careful you two.
