Stress eating
**** man.....(no pun intended)
I think I hit my snapping point yesterday when I bought all kinds of candy. Chocolate covered pretzels, cherry twizzlers, boston bake beans, and gummy bears. Oh yeah, and a stick of starburst.
I ate about 20 pretzels(those little ones), about 30 boston bake beans, and 5 twizzlers.
All of this in the car, because I know Mike woulda killed me had he seen me do that. By the time I get home from the candy joint(about 15 minutes) I felt myself start to get ill, I tried more than 4 times to make myself vomit, totally didn't work.
Altho, I did **** out my ass for a good 5 hours last night. No Lie.
Stress eating is no good. I will never pull a stunt like that again.
I feel like **** today....absolute turds.
Morning!
not stress.. just sweet tooth for me.. I mixed some crunchy peanut butter and S/F syrup at home and at some on crackers... I did vomit and then went to bed.
i went to Sams last nite.. I'm sooo good when I go to the store.. it's amazing
*shaking head.. amazed*
i bought my mom/dad a digital album.. then went and looked at groceries..
i bought a big bag of tyson buffalo chicken strips.. a big bag of frozen tilapia fish and a box of egg beaters... and laundry soap
thank GOD I shop good... HEALTHY..
how many more days LIZZIELICKS.. LICKS..
I have been doing the same thing. Binging on junk food and not concentrating on protein and water I want to kick myself in the butt. I keep saying to myself I will get back on the band wagon tommorrow but I keep eating crap and drinking pop. I wish I dumped everytime I put sweets in my mouth. I get so frustrated but it is my own fault. I feel your pain. Hugs Tricia
In an odd twist I have gone back to eating just like I did preparing for GBS. Using only diet and exercise (primarily walking) I was able to lose about 30 pounds prior to my surgery.
For me anyway, the secret to having success in developing a good eating plan is SIMPLICITY. So to begin with I went out to Wally World and bought a lot of frozen, low calorie, high protein, meals that have good taste and can be prepared in the microwave in 7 to 10 minutes.
Stress does the same thing to me that you are describing happened to you yesterday. I binge eat and my favorite binge food is candy and junk food. It is an addiction for me and one that I have not and may never overcome. So what I try to do is when it happens address it mentally and move on the best I can. For right now that is all I can do or I will get depressed and keep on the binge cycle.
Our wedding brought a lot of stress to Cathy and I. It was a great day celebrating our love for one another but we were both glad and relieved when the wedding was complete and we could get on with our new joined lives.
Best Wishes,
Ron and Cathy
