Big Medicine

Morning Has anyone seen the show "Big Medicine" I think it is on TLC. Anyhoo, it really is interesting. It shows the lives of gastric bypass surgery .....some people trying to be approved, other people having the surgery and plastics after the surgery. Check it out sometime Hugggsss Barb

I love that show, I TIVO it, and watch i****ched Monday's episode at 1:00 a.m. this morning (((don't sleep well)))) I can't imagine what life must be like for that 700 pound man I was FATT just long enough to know, I DID NOT LIKE IT....lol.... And went and had Gastric as fastttttt as I could, I can not imagine being that big, forever S

What day of the week is it on do you know? I watched on Sunday and caught up on the previous shows. I can't imagine being 700 pounds...I was 330 and thought my life was over. Did you see that guy that started at 1,000 got down to 600 and something had the surgery and was trying to get out of bed and walk? It really shows the struggles that people go through with their weight. See ya Hugs. Barb

It's on Monday nights. Yes, I did see that 1000 guy, I can not even begin to imagine the pain. I was almost 300 pounds this time last year and my poor mother was having to come over and help me get dressed, my arthritis and diabetes were killing me. I hope we get to see a "follow up" show on some of these folks...wouldn't that be nice? I was at my bggest last year.....so as I got bigger, I became more desperate....Best thing I have done! S

yes I watch it also. I love the show it puts a perspective on what we went throught to as a patient. I feel for the people and I am rooting for that guy who needs surgery and was sent home. I think the surgeons are great especally when they started calling on behalf of the 700 pound man to try to get him help with having the procedure done to save his life. It is on monday at 9pm in my area. Tricia

Cathy and I just happened to catch an episode this past Sunday evening and really enjoyed it. It was the episode that included Ramon, one of our very own, getting his plastic surgery. It kind of has a 48 hours feel as it goes back and forth from one story to another. We really did enjoy it. Ron
