GOOD MORNING..
Good Morning Pretty Grrl.
So, I went to fitday yesterday to try to track what I am eating and figure out WHY I have such a hard time losing weight now....
WELL NO WONDER.....
How many calories are we supposed to be eating everyday? GEEZ.....
If I had to guess how many I was eating I would have said: 800, not one calorie more...can we say 1200??? And my carbs yesterday OMG....like 120 Grams....
WTH???
Can Anyone give me input? I DID have about 65 grams of protein, again, I don't even know if THAT is a good amount.
After my (1) Month Post Op appointment, my insurance was canceled, and good thing because I really couldn't afford $700 a month premiums anymore, so I have not had any medical coverage to be able to go back to my WLS Doc. It's also a 13 hour round trip, so I couldn't afford that trip anyway LOL....so I am kind of in the dark on what I am supposed to be doing....I just know I have lost 2 freakin' pounds in 3 months, and that sux.

I had signed up at fitday a while back.. not long after surgery.. and had a hard time tracking my food so quit. I think just cuz of portions it was difficult.. I probably need to try again since my portions are normal now kinda... depending on what I eat..
I did tell a friend about the site a couple weeks ago and she's been tracking hers. I think she likes it.. altho I know on friday she wasn't including the chips she ate
To be honest.. I'm not sure what my calorie intake is suppose to be.. so I will be watching to see if there is an answer to that..
I've been watching my intake a couple weeks.. but was naughty yesterday I ate chinese.. and Mc D's.. altho not too much at chinese.. I NEVER get my money worth at buffets and I always say never again... but do!! I guess should just be glad I can't get my monies worth
Good morning Rhonda
I'm trying to brush the sleepies from my eyes. Sitting here drinking a latte before getting ready for work. House is quiet. Boys are still asleep in bed. The girls are snoozing, snuggled next to me here on the couch. Not feeling much like working today. Looks like another beautiful day today.
Couldn't hep but think of that "good morning" song from "Singin in the Rain"
Hope everyone here has a magnificent Monday.
Good mornin', good mornin'!
We've danced the whole night through,
good mornin', good mornin' to you.
Good mornin', good mornin'!
It's great to stay up late,
good mornin', good mornin' to you.
When the band began to play
the sun was shinin' bright.
Now the milkman's on his way,
it's too late to say goodnight.
So, good mornin', good mornin'!
Sunbeams will soon smile through,
good mornin', my darlin', to you.
Here we are together,
a couple of stand-uppers.
Our day is done, breakfast time
starts with our supper.
Here we are together,
ah, but the best of friends must party.
So let me sing this party song
from the bottom of my hearty.
Good morning, it's a lovely morning.
Good morning, what a wonderful day.
We danced the whole night through.
Good morning, good morning to you.
I said good morning, see the sun is shinin'.
Good morning, hear the birdies sing.
It's great to stay up late.
Good mornin', good mornin' to you.
When the band began to play
the stars were shinin' bright.
Now the milkman's on his way,
it's too late to say goodnight.
Good morning, good morning!
Sunbeams will soon smile through.
Good mornin', good morning',
Good mornin', my darlin', to you!
Rhonda's song made me think of The Ramone's "We're a Happy Family". Of course that Barney ALWAYS makes me think of Da Ramones.
You're post made me think of The Beatles:
Nothing to do to save his life call his wife in
Nothing to say but what a day how's your boy been
Nothing to do it's up to you
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...
Going to work don't want to go feeling low down
Heading for home you start to roam then you're in town
Everybody knows there's nothing doing
Everything is closed it's like a ruin
Everyone you see is half asleep.
And you're on your own you're in the street
Good morning, good morning...
After a while you start to smile now you feel cool.
Then you decide to take a walk by the old school.
Nothing has changed it's still the same
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...
People running round it's five o'clock.
Everywhere in town is getting dark.
Everyone you see is full of life.
It's time for tea and meet the wife.
Somebody needs to know the time, glad that I'm here.
Watching the skirts you start to flirt now you're in gear.
Go to a show you hope she goes.
I've got nothing to say but it's O.K.
Good morning, good morning...
afternoon now Mel
I've been working today... I know crazy..
but.. I did want to say.. I've noticed you posting more these days.. even on the SINGLES BOARD.. before stuff happened... and I think it's awesome hope you are on the board (either one) to stay.. I know the support you give and get is wonderful!!
Thanks Rhonda...
I guess I thought my posting wasn't really missed one way or another and Jay posts enough for both of us so...
But really I think I realized how much I care about the people here. Even though I haven't met practically anyone here, I feel like I have a little window into each person's world. And I even though I cared, not posting didn't really allow me to convey that message. Infact it probably conveyed more of a message that I didn't care that much. But I do.
The support here is wonderful and I want to be more actively involved in that support. I think that *really* hit home over the last week or so.
