My new friend from the Revision board... Karen is from Cali and I told her what a great, understanding, supportive, fun group you all are.... Ok so hopefully she will come and join us but I told her I would post an intro... She was battling a lot of what I did before my revision... So I know we can all be supportive of her, the way you all were of me!!! Karen

Deb, how did you get insurance to pay for that revision.....I faintly remember you saying something of a different surgery you needed to get....do tell.

I had a hiatal hernia too... But my husband works for the Gov't they pay for anything.. federal workers get excellent insurance... but they won't pay for plastics.. The surgeon said about 90% of my pouch had slipped up... we figured it happened about the time I started having sever pain and had to be put on daily pain meds until surgery. When they did the originial upper GI I had the hernia but not nearly what it was by the time i had the surgery. So the doc put the main reason the hernia and they paid for the revision too BTW I want to tell you that I am very happy for you and the upcoming wedding and glad to read about it anytime you want to post about it...
