Conversion of Lap Band to sleeve or bypass?

Anyone with experience of conversion from Lap Band, either to bypass or gastric sleeve? I have two problems with the lap band. First, my surgeon says that it cannot be inflated because of a kink in the gullet, which will result in slippage again if inflated. Second I had a GI bleed from a ulcer in the pouch above my band. My surgeon recommends revision by one of most experienced surgeons, either to sleeve or bypass. Anyone with experience?

The sleeve would be closer to your lapband - no intestinal rerouting. If it was me I would pick the sleeve since your first pick was the lapband. If you didnt pick the sleeve; then I would consider looking in to the DS over the RNY.
