I had the "x-ray" liquid test done Wednesday and the doctor told me that my stoma looked fine. (the x-ray doc that is) Okay, then why is that I only have lost 48lbs then. I don't know know what to do next. I read where someone had gotten a scope test. I don't know if I should go distal, revision endoscopic or what or what. I weighed in at 232 and I weigh 184. I not half my weight and still obese. I had an RNY proximal. Please, no comments about I should be happy (because I am not) and yes I do all the protein and exercise in the world. Inches have shedded but not pounds. I live in the Atlanta Area. I was told I had to travel )by doc) to have a revision so I am willing to be safe.

You can go to: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgeons+in+georgia+performing+Revision.html for revision surgeons in your state. There are also ways on the board to check into other states. If this link doesn't help you, and you don't know how to find the other info I mentioned, you can e-mail me or post back here and I will do what I can to help. Best of luck to you in finding a surgeon!! Patty

Hey Candie, I am scheduled for Lap RNY on Tuesday 5/23/06. I know of many woman who have went to "other" doctors and had the same problem as you are having. I suggest that you try calling Dr. Paul Macik 404-252-2220. He has revised/repaired many surgerys. Dr. Macik is doing my sugery. Best of luck! Don't give up!!!
