Enlarged Stoma...any known cause?

I've learned so much in the past few days about enlarged stomas. My WLS was in 1999 as an open RNY. I lost about 140 pounds to barely tap into the Obese BMI level from the Super Morbidly Obese. I was so excited about it. One doctor I shared my excitement with wasn't as impressed (God love her...I didn't take offense.) To be brief I had several strictures within the first 18 months postop. There were 5 endoscopies with dilations done. About 2.5 years ago the weight regain became out of control. Last year I was diagnosed with an adrenal gland disease (Cushings) which has rapid weight gain as a symptom (lucky me). Since I'd never arrived at my surgeon's hoped for "socially acceptiable pudgy" weight, I'm miserable to be currently facing a return to my presurgery weight. I've been in contact with my bariatric surgeon, however this topic came up since our last conversation. Has anyone heard of a correlation of WLS patients who had numerous stricture dilations then finding the stoma enlarged later? Recently I read Dr Simpson's article in the ObesityHelp magazine on Revisions, it was the first resource of stomas enlargement I'd seen. Thanks, B
