HAPPY NEW YEAR...I'M NEW HERE
i am going to have my RNY done on Monday, January 3, 2005. i am so afraid of the procedure failing me. after reading all of the negative things here on this website, i must say that it has really taken off the rose colored glasses. i will be so disappointed if i have any of the problems that are posted on this site but i can not help but think that these things will happen to me. i feel really bad for all of you that have encountered problems from your WLS. i hope your problems can be resolved. Lynn
I READ YOUR COMMENT AND ALL I HAVE 2 SAY IS LYN, U BE BLESSED. I AM ALSO NEW TO THE SITE, HAVEN'T READ ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT WLS UNTIL NOW, BUT NOT EVERY STORY IS YOUR STORY. TRYTO FOCUS ON YOUR SUCCESS AND NOT ANYONE ELSE'S FAILURE. ( NOT THAT THEY'VE FAILED) GOD BLESS YOU, AND YOU'LL DEFINATELY BE IN MY PRAYERS.
Hope your surgery went well lyn. I don't like to think of things going wrong. I believe everything happens for a reason and some times they are out of your control. Some people will lead you to believe that failure is out of something that you have done and that is not always the case. I am waiting on my insurance company for my revision. I have stapleline disruption. It did not occur out of something that I did. I got H pylori that ate a hole in my stapleline. So hang in there because most people are successful with their surgery, I have many many friends who are still successful and there are many many more who visit this site every day who have all succeeded in their weight loss venture and are keeping it off every day. Good Luck to you and be blessed.
