I had my VSG in 2009 and lost 100lbs...and of that I have gained back 24lbs..I am feeling so bad....I know what I need to do..but how to get myself in that mind frame?  I have tried the protien drinks and cannot stand them....so I eat and over eat..and usually have to bring some up because my pouch cannot hold all that...and when I do that I am hungry half hour to an hour later....so frustrated!!!!

Suggestions???

Hello!!
It's so hard to get on track and then stay there! is the point I am at now.
I have regained in 6yrs. 25lbs. Thought it was 40lbs. which scared me, to the point of getting serious again. Six yrs. ago, I never made it to goal. Docs. 190 & my personal goal was 160/175 lbs. back then. Now I am trying to make it yet again. It is more than hard! Don't be so hard on yourself. Try and re-focus, as I have tried, and it's too hard some days, but what else is there to do? Gain it all back?? I am not having that!!
stayed at 222lbs. and could not get lower?
So I am trying to loose again. No failure here, or revision!
HW-354lbs.
LW-222lbs.
1st-goal is to weigh 199???
2nd-goal is 185lbs. I can live with that, seeing as though I came from the heavy wt. team. Suggestion is.............keep making honest efforts to do better. Stay connected here, it's helping me as it did b4, six yrs. ago. We can't do this alone. We are here for you! Best wishes. You've come to far to give in now??
It's a never ending battle. So gear up! I feel and know your pain. Take each day at a time. Hey I am making my self feel better. lol.
Peace-jbug.

Using the Rules of the Pouch has helped me with losing the regain. I'm hoping to lose all my regain and finally get to my surgeons goal. Good luck to you.

24 pounds is still manageable. It's not 100 right? The good thing is you don't need protein drinks to get back on track. How about a day of eating dense high protein foods ?- no bread/white stuff. Then try another day. Overeat? pick yourself up and try again. Keep busy - get away from the fridge/food sources if you have to.

You can do it!
