I had a gastric bypass in 2001. I put all my weight back on, and had a revision in 2011. The revision caused me to lose a couple of pounds but not much. What else can I do at this point? Another revision? Some other type of surgery? I need helpfor please!

What kind of revision did you have?  If it was the ROSE procedure or the Stomaphix then don't feel bad.  They don't seem to have helped anyone.

Check out the revision board.  Your best bet would probably be a revision to a DS.  It has better weight loss and maintenance and there are a lot of revisions being done to it.  Only a few surgeons are skilled enough to do a RNY to DS revision so you may have to travel.  Check out the revision board and the DS board for more information.

Questions you need to ask yourself and report to your physician - What are you eating? When are you eating? Why are you eating? How much exercise do you get? is it mild, moderate or heavy exercise? What do you believe about your surgery? Are you committed to lifestyle choices (or do you believe surgery alone is the way to weight loss)? What do you feel will change when you lose weight? Are those changes something you actually want?
