Can any one tell me what the average final goal is for someone weighing 275 at 5'2?  I know that every doctor has a different goal for every patient but I am wondering how far I actually amy from goal.  Maybe a little more effort will get me there.  I am almost four years out, have not been to my doctor in at least two years and realy don't remember what he had me set at for my final goal.

Well, when I decided what I wanted my goal to be, I started off by figuring out what a "normal" BMI would be for someone of my height. (For a person who's 5'2" the high end of normal is 136 pounds) I am 5'7", so I calculated my goal weight should be somewhere below 158 pounds. I settled on 150 and discussed it with my surgeon, who agreed that was a good number for me. This is what I have been working toward ever since.

Good luck with getting to your goal, whatever it might be!

Hi,
i'm 5'5" and my goal was 160, but i'd like another 5-10lbs.
at 5'2" i'd try for 135. But whatever the highest Normal BMI says is where you could aim for
good luck

just did some research,
someone with at 5'2" who wanted to reach a normal BMI should be 135-140lbs.
that would put your bmi at 24.6 which is considered normal.
But what is normal, you might feel good at 150lbs and your body might want to stop there. It's not for the charts to tell you where you should be but you and your body.
Best of luck
