Truely, I feel that my RNY failed me............... "There is no point in losing weight and then gaining it back.  This only causes enormous psychological devistation."

I was 175 pounds when I was in grade school. And 230’s in 7th-8th grade. And 260’s as a senior in high school.

Here are some pics for you:

Here I was over 300 pounds:

When I was 30, I had RNY (in 2002) Here are 3 years of pics with the weight difference:

I had started my weight re-gain in 2003.  I weighed 150 in May of 2003.
Here I am in October 2003:

And, as you can see below, (my mom & sis with her 1st boy, Joshua).  On my sister Debi’s b-day
in  2003 or 2004.

The weight I am maintaining now, 225-230.  And have been maintaining for 7 years.
July 2009 at 230 pounds:

I hate my physical body.  HATE IT.  This is why I am continuing  my journey in exploring a revision from RNY to DS.

I am considering the same thing, I wish you the best of luck.  I wish I had gone with the DS in the first place it would have been so much easier.
YOU CAN ONLY TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME

Good luck Sweetie  !  Looks to me like U should have  been given a DS  in the first place  .  GRRRR  these  self-serving surgeons make me SO MAD  ....
