Starting Over Please Help
I am 3 years out and am currently awaiting the arrival of my second baby.... I was done 160 lbs but have gained 40 lbs over my last two pregnancies which have been back to back.... I have really gotten off my eating plan and have been eating anything I want and not drinking my water and only been taking my prenatal vitamins and not sticking to weighing out my food so pretty much gone against everything we are supposed to do after surgery but I am making an effort once my baby is born to get back on track and my question here is if anyone can help me with how much at 3 years out measure wise should we be eating, how much protein should we be getting in, how much water, and also what kind of vitamins should we be taking? If anyone has answers to these questions and any other support you can give me it would be greatly appreciated. I want to get this weight back off and continue on to get to my goal weight of 180lb. I am currently at 270 lbs. Thanx so much and if anyone out there wants to message back and forth with one another on this journey that would be great!

Julie
Oak Grove Missouri!
I am due Oct 28 but the doctors are expecting me to go early due to my babies being so close together and the fact that they have already hospitalized me due to preterm labor and having to give me medication to stop it...... I have completely lost my good habits as well and I have no idea at this point how much food I should be having at one sitting...... I eat and drink at the same time as well and I cant seem to break the habit no matter how much I try..... luckily my thyroid levels seem to still be in check for the moment but I know how it is to have be out of whack..... I wish you the best of luck with everything and I hope you keep in touch so we can support each other on here and see if we can get this weight off together..... look forward to hearing from you

We are all in that same boat!!! & it's sinking fast!! I too had a baby in 09' He is healthy & happy...Amen to that.
As far as getting off track, I got way off & very comfortable, eating whatever & not excercising at all... However, currently I've been trying to loose again for a few wks. & I will admitt it's been hard. But I'm determined!!!!!!!!!!! to make it to my docs original goal for, me from 3yrs. ago. During preg. I only gain 13lbs. (baby wt.@ birth was 5lbs.9.5oz) a lil' 5lb. bag of surgar!! yes he was
After my preg. gained another 10lbs. which is 23lbs. from my lowest post-opt. surgery wt.
Highest wt. 354lbs.
Post preg wt. 222lbs.
preg. wt. 235lbs.
Current wt. 244lbs. & 239lbs.
The scale keeps playing with me!! I may not weigh for awhile it's to discouraging for me!!
As I said were all in the same boat..
We can do it.. I'm doing a moderation of Weigh****hers, and I'm about to join officially, to learn all their great secrets!! lol
I have been excersing again...even though I hate it..very often 5 times a wk or more??
and I've been very mindful of my food as well. so it's working just a slow process!! We are here to support one another and if we really try I know we can get there!!
Docs goal for me was 190lbs.
if I loose the 60lbs. I will weigh... 185lbs. no...when I loose it!! Positive thinking is a must!! The effort I'm making is trying!!!It's been a slow process I think? but I'm going to hang in there! I didn't set a time frame to loose the 60lbs. but maybe I can, before my 4th surgeriversary!! March 2011.. that would be awesome!! Good luck & hang in there no matter what & work that tool!! it still works!!
Peace jbug

Well luckily for you you didnt gain too much during your preg or afterwards so hopefully that will help you get down to goal..... I completely stopped exercising and stopped doiing all the things that got me to lose 160 lbs in the first place so it isnt surprising that I have put some weight back on.... I have gained 40 lbs (about 20 with each baby) which isnt that bad when you think about it..... I just want to get it off of me now and finally get down to my surgeons goal for me which was 180lbs..... It is possible for you to get the weight off by your 4th surgiversary but if you dont and you just get some off at least you know you are well on your way.... as long as you get there there is no rush as to the time limit..... I think sometimes putting the added stress of a deadline on it is more of a deterent to what you are trying to accomplish rather than being helpful to you. I wish you all the best on your journey and please keep in touch so we can support each other through this and hopefully come out skinnier and healthier on the other side..... look forward to hearing from you
