Hi Missy,
I am pretty much in the same boat as you.  I know I've gained weight because of grazing and too much chocolate.  Not much bothers me other than milk and ice cream.  I've gotten some good advice here and I'm trying to get back on track.  We'll get there!

In 1999 I had a distal RNY. Went from 430 to 200, but maintained around 210. Like you around four years out I started gaining weight. From years four to ten I gained 92 pounds. I was miserable. I had tried to go back to the RNY basics, I tried several diets, I went on Weigh****chers and had to eat the least number of points for the smallest weight category and only lost five pounds in six months. It was terrible. I learned that by year four to five that the RNY intestines learn to absorb much more, though I still malaborbed some fat, b-12 and iron (I was terribly anemic).

I had a revision of my RNY to DS. I have had a lot of complications though and for a total of 7 months (3 months in the beginning and for four months since April) I have been on some sort of nutritional support. Out of the five months that I have not been on nutritional support I have lost 115 pounds. I'm currently on TPN (IV nutrition) and have not lost a pound in four months because of it.  I hope to lose the rest of my weight when I get off of it.

I hear ya about that 6 inch sub, once i knew I could eat it I do it...  sugar don't make me sick up to about 20g, after that I feel ill for an hour and then I still eat sugar... I don't know why I push my limits... I feel like a failure... I got pregnant 4 months out with twins and I think my pouch got stretched a bit... I know it's still small but it's bigger then right after my surgery...
