revision from gastric to realize band

I had a gastric bypass i***** I did lose all the weight however in the last 3 years I have put it back on. I've been told by a few sugeons that the only option is to do a revision (gastric band). I have read so many comments on how bad of success people are having with the banding. Has anyone got any success stories with it? I just hope there are some.

The Revision board is listed under Surgery Types, in alaphabetical order. Your best option is to revise from your RNY to the DS (duodenal switch).

I am doing the opposite...The band is not really working for me. I had my band placed in 2008 and at most have los 50 pounds. I am going to try Gastric.
