Ideal Protein diet

To anyone who might have information to share...

I had my RnY in Oct 2003.  I was at about 265 and in the first two years I was down to about 170...We moved from VA (Military) to San Diego, and I dropped another 20 pounds...now we are in WA state and I have am back up to 200 and climbing (I "affectionately" call it hibernation weight cause the weather is so miserable here!)

I have tried everything that I can to stop the climb, and nothing seems to be working!  I have some friends (fire-fighters) that are using the Ideal Protein diet and it seems to be going really well for them...I would like to try it, but am unsure if it's a good idea post-op...  Does anyone have experience with this?  The military docs up here are ridiculous - the nutritionist is bigger than I am!  And the rest of the docs don't seem to want to do the follow up the way they did in VA.

Help!
