HCG injections

Has anyone tried the HCG hormone injection weightloss program.  I have a friend who has lost 100 lbs using this, however she hasn't had wls.  I had my surgery in August 2004 and have regained 40 lbs.  I don't won't anymore surgery so I'm seeking other options.

I have been looking into it also.  Where did she get it from, I am in Iowa and there is no clinic around to get it from.

After LapBand complications, I had to have it removed, but have put on most of the weight I had lost. So I turned to the HCG shots but it seemed to cause water retention for me and made my hands, feet and face to swell. They advised me to stop taking, so now I am looking into RNY.
