Hello, my name is Elizabeth Nus and I am currently a graduate student. I am doing a paper on WLS, in particular expanding on what procedures there are available, what type of patients get them, any issues from the surgery and the success rate or failure of the surgery.
I CANNOT use your name or anyones name but my own in the paper, and I plan on putting the paper on the OH website once it is done. Thru my research I hope to learn some things myself, but to also educate others who are considering WLS, know's someone who has had WLS and just to educate the average joe. I had lap RNY on 11/3 and I am down 43 lbs!!
So, what I am asking is that you reply to  this, DO NOT GIVE SPECIFIC PERSONAL INFORMATION...I cannot use this nor would I if I could.
Your information will go into statistical data for charts and a look into the WLS population.
So, please I need the following things-

Type of weight loss surgery and date
Highest weight
Pre-op weight
Current weight with pounds lost
Any issues from or since surgery?
What medical issues if any had prior to surgery and do they still exist?
And, any other bits of info you can give me without giving names and such.

Remember, I CANNOT use names in my research. Thanks again, and hope to hear from you very soon!
