Feeling of fullness/RNY compared to the band.

How can one explain the feeling of fullness you get when you have the bypass? I have the band and I can be hungry but have a pain in my chest as a signal to hold off? How does the bypass feeling of fullness feel? Has anyone out there have the band and the bypass??? How do you rate/compare the two? I am scared to remove the band and it is the same feeling of fullness.

RNY fullness starts with a bit of over-full feeling, and might push the nausea button a bit, and if you're really pushing it, pain can also happen.... and sometimes for hours...

I just had the RNY 3 weeks ago and am on the mashed stage. I feel just pleasingly satisfied for 3 -6 hours with meat.  I too felt phlemmy and had to throw up with the band on which I never lost any wt.Learned the hard way no milk or fried French's onion rings. I got weak,sweaty stomach felt funny and had to lay down for about an hour. I've lost 17# in 20days.
