well, it's been 4 years out. I lost 160 lbs, weight 205 I was soooooooo happy there. I weighed it but didnt look it. I had a baby went to 215, holidays came 220. I am having a tummy tuck done in a month, and i'm actually sad that I'm having this done and weigh that much. I wanted to lose at least 20 lbs before the skin removal, and I can't. I've been so good with food, and the only problem is I cant excersise because I come home from work and take care of my 5 month old son. Ugh, i feel like i've failed.  bummer.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having such a tough time.  I don't think you have failed.  Right now things are kind of hectic for you.  Your body is still recovering from your wonderful son.  Again, I am going to promote the Back on Track board.  This will help you jump start back into the exercise and losing program.  Hang in there.  Here is the link.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

It seems to me that taking care of a 5-month-old baby IS plenty of exercise.  You haven't failed.  Sounds like you're doing a wonderful job of being a mother.

Don't beat yourself up over this.  Who knows what can happen between here and a month from now.

I'm surprised you are going to have a tummy tuck after recently having a baby.  5 months wow.  I can't even imagine that.   You are probably doing much better than you really think.

Good Luck.  I hope all turns out well.

Hugs

I do not have any children (let me say that first) so I do not understand taking care of a 5 month old. YOu have have not failed, but if you have cable there is a channel called FIT TV and maybe you can do one of the owrkouts that they offer. Maybe turn on some music and dance around, make up a kickboxing routine, just a few ideas to get you moving.. I hope that everything works out for you!!!!
