failed SRVBG

I am trying to find info on wether you can have a lap band if you have had a Silastic ring VBG my opened about 3 years ago and i have tried ...but i have slowly gained back58 lbs of the 140 lbs that i lost originaly... the doctor that preformed my original surgery retired... not sure were to turn...

A surgeon named Dr. Curry has his own sticky thread on the lap band board.  He does band over RNY surgery, and might be able to give you some advice about your revision options.  He also does sleeves, RNY, and plain old bands and is generally very helpful and courteous.  You might post your question there and see what he has to say.
