Stopped losing weight...
According to my dietician weight loss can continue life long. The rate that we loose per week will decrease as time goes on. I was told that after the "honeymoon phase" the first six months it begins to slow down some. After about 18 months to 24 months it really does slow down. I am currently 20 months out and still losing, but very slowly. I have 23 pounds left to make goal and was told by the dietician to only except to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week or 4 pounds a month. I was also told not to look at the weekly weight loss but to look at the monthly for now own and look to fit into smaller sized clothing. I am currently exercising 60 minutes per day on the treadmill and doing so light weight lifting a couple times per wee****ep track of everything that I eat on www.dailyplate.com. , which is a great help. She also said that the more calorie rich foods the more difficult it is to use the weight. I admit that I have digressed at times and that may be why I am still reaching for my goal weight.. I have read all kinds of posts that state that weight loss stops so I emailed her this week to ask that very same question. It may be harder, but it can continue it you follow the pouch rules and exercise.
Hi,
I stopped at 9 months to the day. Held fast at a loss of 90 pounds. Then had some plastic surgery and lost about 10 more for about a darn week. Held my weight firm for the last three years and now have put on 20lbs I can't get off. I never lost the amount predicted, lost very slowly and never had the real honeymoon people talk about.
I wish I could get a revision but with all the complications, plastic surgeries and hernia repais I've had I'm afraid to even see if I could get it covered. I'm still paying the medical deductibles off of those surgeries.
Good Luck,
Desiree

Would like to know if you know of any support groups in our area????? I am trying to become more tech savvy, but have not yet "mastered" the navigation of this site.
