Gastric Staple to DS Revision - has anyone had this?

I'm looking for anyone who had a gastric staple and then a DS.  I had a gastric staple in 1980.  I kept the weight off for seven years, then gained it all back and then some.  Two years ago, I had a DS.  I dropped from 282 to 155.  I was at 155 in mid-January of this year.  I kissed 155 and then it was like a switch turned on and I've been hungry ever since.  I want to find out if anyone else has had this kind of a problem.  Right now, it feels like I'm actually having more trouble with dieting than I had before the DS.  I'm very sad and want to know if there is anything I can do about this.

 Try your question on the revision forum or the DS forum - I bet you will find someone who has expereienced what you have.  Also, the boards I mentioned are more active and you will likely get some helpful responses there.

check out dsfacts.com  you will find all the info you need & yes many will be there who were revised from the staple. I plan to do it myself and am just reading everything I can find here and also DS profiles and their links & statistics of success and I am very encouraged with it all. I havent chosen a surgeon yet but am reading their websites now. They have a list of surgeons that do those revisions. Good luck & keep in touch . .
