Check the stats on this very carefully.

1 it's self pay, no insurance I know of pays for it.  and 2 it has only worked for a few people

Post this question ove on the DS board, there are LOTS of people there, that have now decided to do the DS after their 1st surgery failed, and the Stomaphyx failed (after SELF PAY!!!!).

I promise you won't be disappointed if you do that!

Just my $.02

Thanks for your $.02  I appreciate it!! Are you looking into a revision also? What kind? I did consider a DS but don't know all the facts. Is it a risky surgery? Does insurance pay?  I'm from Wis and I don't know of a good DS revision surgeon around here. I'm checking in to Dr Scheslinger from AZ. I don't really want to travel that far. I think it will be costly, depending on  the insurance. I have united health. They paid my first surgery six years ago. There is so much to look into and I will take anyones opinon. Thanks so much for yours

Thanks for letting me know. I am now looking into having the DS as a revision. I have a consult on wed. with Dr. Hares in Michigan. Good luck to you, I hope you find something that works for you.

Great! I'm taking steps toward the DS too.  I'm self-pay, so it's taking a little longer.
