I just read Tami from PA's information regarding DS. Can anyone tell me how to find a surgeon in your home state that will do it, and, if you have had it done, did you have to go through all the preparation for this as required initially for RNY?

http://duodenalswitch.com/surgeons/surgeons.html I'd head over to the DS forum.. they are very well-versed with the procedure. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/ds

wow, chatty kathy....I have not seen any post yet that people have failed the DS surgery.....please go over to the DS forum and talk to those people over there and tell your story.

I am sure many of them will help you as to why this has happen and maybe even give you ways to jump start your weight and move on down the ladder.....please go over there and talk to them.

I don't recall ever seeing a post from you on the DS board, but you really should try asking over there. I have seen many with issues get help.
My own surgeon was quite familiar with RNY, and gave me post RNY info, that wasn't the best for a post-op DSer. I have gotten some great advice on the DS board, and would be taking the wrong supplements and eating inappropriate foods if it weren't for the posters there. You should give it another shot. Good luck.
