has anyone had an erosion? or dialated espoph?

What does it feel like and what are the symptoms? Sometimes my stomach will feel a burning sensation. Even when I havn't eaten in a while. I also wonder if it is esoph spasims. If you have had these problems please let me know the symptoms and the fix. Thanks so much!

Angie - I am not sure what I have but am going in for some testing tomorrow.  What happens is I feel this kind of tight burning at the base of my throat that then goes into my stomach and up into my chest.  I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance twice for this only for them to tell me they didn't know what it was.  It felt like I was having a heart attack, like someone was squeezing inside my chest.  The first symptom I get starts in my throat.  My doctor thinks I may be having spasms in my esophagus which she says there is medication for.  I will let you know what  I find out.  Is this what you are experiencing?

I gotta say my solution was to quit eating! I stopped eating litterally for about a week! Then gradually went back to regular food. I hesitatied to do this because of nutrition but now things are back on corse. I wouldn't recomend doing it for any length of time but this solved my problem. I think I was a little streched because now I don't even want to get a fill. My restriction is back and that burning is gone except for when I eat anything with caffeene and that irriates me. I had no pain with my band erosion. Just alot of reflux and fills that were not working...the fills were just eroding it more and more into my stomach...it was more that 50% into my stomach. I had to have it removed....I revised to DS! MUCH better!
