I WANT A REVISION FROM VBG TO RNY OR DS.

I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE IN HERE HAS HAD A REVISION FROM VERTICAL BANDED GASTRICBYPASS  (VBG)TO RNY OR DS. AND HOW HARD WAS IT ON YOU.AND IF IT WORKED FOR YOU.    GOD BLESS

I'm on the road to a VBG to DS procedure.  I'd be interested to hear from those who've had a revision from VBG as well.

I live in Israel. 44. 5 ft tall - now 104K. In 93 (at 121K)  I had SRVG. Vomited 8 years. I actually thought that was normal! esophagus narrowed to 4mm. Revision to VBG in 01. +adhesions. POVH in 03. Hysterectomy in 05. +adhesiond abd bowel obstruction. Lowest I ever got to was 92K. I suffer from progressively worsenig Severe GERD. I awake in the middle of the night several hours after eating - but gagging on bile  anf a sensation of fire burning up my back, chect, throat and neck!   YUK ! Now esophagus is about 8mm. Travelled out of town over the past four months to 3 different fat-docs. All recommended the  Open RNY GB. This is due to pevious ops. I am now awaiting date for op.  Actually I was given one for 23/12 but I'm hoping to have it pushed up.

Is it possible you could contact Dr. Balsatar in Spain to see about a revision to a DS?
