Hi, I had surgery in 2005 RNY and lost most of my weight, about 10 pounds away from my goal. Anyways over the last 5 years I have been gaining a little here and there around 50 pounds. I wanted to try Alli to see if it helps. Has anyone tried it yet?

Sorry for the late reply, just found this forum...   I have been thinking the same thing about alli.  I had my surgery 8/22/2002 and have gained about 30 lbs back in the past 2 years...  My Mom has been taking Alli and seems to be doing well on it (she hasn't had WLS but struggles with about 10lbs)...  Anyway, I have an appt with my WLS doc next week and I'm going to ask him.  I'll keep you posted.

I tried it.  I didn't get the diarrhea that some people compain about but I got excrutiating abdominal pain (the kind that doubles you over!) and so I stopped taking it.  I've been thinking about trying it again.  I've gained 27 pounds and am desperate to take it off.
