stomaphyx pouch reduction for weight gain

ANyone hear of the new Stomaphyx procedure? I saw Dr. Shawn Garber in NY this week and he said he can shrink my pouch endoscopically through the mouth with no incisions and no recovery.  He is the only surgeon in the entire Northeast doing the procedure.  I had RNY and have been slowly gaining back weight about 30 lbs because I can eat more.  He said he will make my stomach pouch similar to the way it was when I had my original surgery.

I would also like to know more about this and know who is doing this in the midwest as I live in Illinois. Thanks, Deanna

There is a Dr. in Columbus OH that is doing the procedure.  I am currently scheduled for Aug. 15.  They are even getting some of the insurances to pay for it. I can pass alond his info if you are interested.

If you search obesity help for the word Stomaphyx you will get obesity helps Dr. in FL who is doing this.  I don't think they want any other Dr.s names mentioned - they got kind of freaky about me posting that information. Cheyenne

Deanna, I had it done 6/7/07- had only gained 30 lbs.  Have lost 14 already, only 16 to go. I posted all the Dr's names that are doing this but the moderator removed it and threatened to kick me off or even prosecute me for 'ADVERTISING' - guess no one here wants others to be helped unless it's a revision?  Can't figure this one out. Guess you'll have to write me off board for the information so I don't get in TROUBLE! Yes, I had it done 6/7/07 and it's WONDERFUL.  It's like having gastric bypass surgery all over again, I can't eat very much and am losing weight again.  I had only gained 30 lbs. and have lost about 14 already so I'll reach my goal again quickly. There was no pain and no down time.  I had a mild sore throat the day of the surgery. Cheyenne
