But, I was at a one year plateau.  I have heard that a lot of Dr. Frezza's patients have to go back for another surgery to make the pouch smaller, b/c he doesn't make small enough or something.  I like him, not projecting any hate, but I am wondering if any of you have had something similar.  I am not able to break that 200lb mark.  I am shooting for 160, but I have been shooting 2 years on the 20th of next month.  It's discouraging.

I did not have your surgeon, but I can tell you I am having my revision in 2 weeks because during testing to find out if my hiatal hernia had returned they discovered my pouch was to big. So my new surgeon who was my husbands WLS surgeon wants to make my pouch smaller. I never hit my goal was about 50lbs away and could never seem to get there regardless of my eating/exercise.  I have a friend who had the same surgeon I had for my original surgery and she's looking into revision too. She had the same issue I did.. never got close to goal.  I usually say call your doctor, have an upper GI and get scoped so they can see everything and know it was pouch failure/to big etc.. Good luck Debby

If you can't stand behind the troops... stand in front of them... PLEASE!

I have been good about my eating, I have almost completely cut out sweets.  I will admit that I crave salt.  I think its a pottasium thing though.  Should I go back to formula.  I almost feel like a traitor b/c I have had some success, I just am still 60 lbs away and can't seem to get any further.  Maybe I will wait for my move to do it.  I am a military wife, and I am fixin' to move.  Should I go back to formula?

Don't you know that salt makes you retain fluid? Maybe you should try garlic instead(for flavor). Then you'll probably lose the 60 lbs faster. If it's potassium, go for the green leafy veggies or  1/2 of a banana.
