has any one ever had lap band from rny

Don't know of anyone who has revised from RNY to lap band but I know several (including my best friend) that have gone RNY to DS and are thrilled with the results. Kathie

I have seen several people on this site that have had the lap band placed after rny. I have a friend at work that is looking into it as well.

HiRobert, I noticed that you live in Fair Lawn .I live in Fort Lee.I had WLS in 2004.I gained 12 lb for the last 4 month.I am trying to find a support group in N.J. Do you know of any. Thanks EK

there is one at hackensack hospital and valley hospital in ridgewood

Hackensack Hospital has support the first Thursday of each month. The next group is tomorrow night (Nov 2) at 6:30. In the Hekemian Room (or breakout rooms). Englewood Hospital also has support, but not sure if it's the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month -- contact [email protected] for more info on the Englewood Group.
