Please, at the very least, call your doctor. Passing out isn't normal, and none of us can diagnose you over the internet. If it turns out to be nothing, fine. Just don't take any chances.
Thank you! I will keep working on adding more fluid/salts.. Sleep, well, I will have to make a way with 12hr shifts & kids lol. I will find a way.
I completely agree with contacting your doctor, but to me this sounds like anemia, not dumping. The DS can cause anemia because we don't absorb iron normally, and/or you could be losing blood in your stool but not fast enough for it to be obvious. Make sure you get your blood count checked, and even consider a trip to the ER if you get worse, but hopefully it won't come to that.

Thank you Valerie,
Were hoping to get this done soon. Going to see Dr. Gary Anthone in Omaha, Ne. He did our mom's DS 6 1/2 years ago. We have a lot of faith in his abilities, it's just cost obviously (self pay) and what he thinks of her results with the sleeve and her other issues if she is a good candidate. Almost want to do it myself, been hovering around 300 now for a few years. Would love to drop the last 100 lbs or so, but one sibling at a time.
Thanks,
Bubba
We see more people wanting/needing to revise from sleeve to DS all the time. Sleeve works okay for some people, but a lot of people lose well initially, as your sister did, and then the weight loss stops and regain begins despite good efforts on their part. Your sister is definitely not alone.
Dr. Anthone is a well known DS surgeon who does the real, standard of care DS. He does seem to prefer a longer common channel than other DS surgeons, and this is something your sister may want to discuss with him.
