My doctor put me on Ultra Primal Life 9 years ago and I still take it. He recommended 3 capsules a day and I typically take 2.

I think I'm different than any of you. It will be 9 years this August for me. I have horrible gas and foul smelling bathroom issues, gas pains, etc. So much so, I sometimes think that I can never be "close" to anyone ever. I need to buy stock in candle and air freshener companies, I spend so much. I've been reading all of your posts and I am going to start today going back to basics and see if it truly does make a difference, but here is the one of the reasons I think I'm different. I can't touch beans, they kill me! I would love to have some in taco salads, chili, good source of protein, but literally blow me up so bad, I'm in so much pain, I can't handle it. I don't do dairy other than my yogurt, I can't do carbs hardly at all, no white flour... I don't eat whites too much at all, I will have baked sweet potatoes every now and again. I can eat corn products better than other, so I will eat a bit of corn or corn products from time to time. I have had horrible, killer gas for 9 years! I have gained around 20 lbs from my lowest, but only about 10 from what I tend to fluctuate around, although that is making me feel pretty "fat". I have been working on getting back on track, so maybe I was meant to see these posts today. Thank you! I am going to go and stock up with the right things and give this a try, minus beans!

5 months after my ds in 2013, I was dxd with acute myloid leukemia. My treatment was very aggressive and lasted for over a year. By the grace of Almighty God I was recently deemed cured by my medical team. However during my year treatment I had to take handfuls of pills to build an artificial a immune system while I was receiving chemo.

I never had an issue with any pills not absorbing. Additionally during this time due to the stress I had to take several anti anxiety and Anti-depressants and again I had no issues with absorption

Initially my oncologist were concerned because they had never dealt with a cancer patient with a DS. They consulted my surgeon and several gastroenterologist and all was well and I'm blessed to be cured.

Blessings

Topic: RE: RNY to DS in Arizona

Hi, I am not in the U.S. I am in Canada but I just saw a surgeon about going for an RNY to DS. He told me it is a very risky procedure. They first had to reverse the RNY and then do a sleeve and then they do the DS. That is a lot of surgery. I spoke to a few people that did have it done and they had nothing but complications. example, stomach hernia, one person they had to put a hold in her esophagus because food would not go down. Another person did not lose anything. Another one has constant pain. Please be careful. It really scared me.

I know everyone is different but I looked into this and it looks too scary for me. I just wanted to share this with you.

I am sure there are since we do have malabsorption but what else are we going to take? Delayed release really don?t work for us because we pass them before they have completely released.
