Hey, I noticed in the middle of the night if I just so happe to lay wrong, I find I do not have any circulation in my lower arm or hands. It often happens, what Vitamin or Supplement helps with this issue?
this may not be a vitamin or supplement issue. I suggest you see your pcp who may send you to a specialist. Good luck.

Congratulations on your loss, and your maintenance over time. That's wonderful and takes a lot of hard work and dedication!
Not familiar with this surgeon at all. It looks like his name is still associated with a clinic but the website is in Polish. Could very well be retirement, though!
I hear the forums are a much quieter place these days than some years back. This is the norm for what I've seen, though. The most active forum is the RNY board, though people still check in here! There are some great long-term DSers who weigh in when folks post. Best wishes!

That is 100% Broks Pizza,I was around here back in that time, everyone raved about it back then too.
He gave me an amazing life saving tool back on Feb 26th 2008 , thanks to him I now live life, not just exist.I lost 220 lbs and maintaining.
So I was going to do an update with him but sadly I saw the offfice was closed permanently. Does anyone know what happened? Quite possible he retired i suppose.sure have missed the forums over the years. Thanks all,
Thank you very much for replying. My weight was 234 and now at my lowest I was 145 but struggling around 160 currently. I will look into what copper is because i haven't even heard of copper . I wish you all the luck with your weight loss journey. I think with the pain of arthritis and having hips replaced and breaking my back it's just so frustrating. But I will talk to my dr about meds for bone loss and building bone.
I have osteoporosis - not sure if my surgery (RNY) was a factor or not, because we never did a baseline on that before my surgery. But I'm in my 60s and osteoporosis runs rampant in my family, so it may have just happened. They do have drugs now that stop the loss, and others that actually build bone. I was on Reclast for three years which stopped the loss- but my endocrinologist wants to try Forteo starting this summer to build them back some before I head into my "golden years". I'm not saying osteoporosis isn't serious - it is - but they're better able to deal with it than they were a few years ago. I didn't even realize it was possible to build bone until I after I was diagnosed...
P.S. my bariatric clinic doesn't check for copper, either.
Hi there, that really stinks. I had surgery in 05 and I just found out I have osteoporosis and it's really scary because I don't want to break another bone. I just am out of menopause and have an appt next month with rhumetologist. I hope everything works out for you. I don't know if my dr even checks copper

Hi there!
Congratulations on maintaining your loss for all of these years. Sorry to hear about your absorption issue.
I don't have answers for you. I'm only 7.5 months out, though I just checked all of my bloodwork and copper isn't something they're checking for. Unless it's under a name I don't know/recognize. Plenty of things I've been working to calibrate due to deficiencies but if that's one, it's unknown.
I hope others are able to weigh in, and that you're doing okay! Welcome back.

Thank you for sharing your experience--I appreciate it! The spasms did finally subside, thank goodness. I'm guessing they happened because I was so soon out of surgery and things inside were still angry with me for having them cut and rearranged. I've been able to tolerate liquids really well so I'm hoping at my 2-week follow-up here in a couple of days I can advance to soft foods so I can start figuring out what soft proteins will work for me so I can start meal prepping. I teach high school so trying to find times throughout the day when I can take a short break to have a little protein will be challenging but I will make it work!
I have joined a support group on Facebook that has been super helpful so far, but I'd like to see if there is a face-to-face one locally. I'll ask my doc when I see him later this week.
Thanks again; I am thankful for whatever I can learn from y'all!
